Ensure all materials are ready. For each snap, you will require two caps, one socket, and one stud.
Select your location for snap installation and use your awl to puncture a small hole in the fabric.
Insert the fabric between the cap and stud.
Position the fabric between the cap and stud.
Employ pliers to compress the cap and stud together.

Insert your awl into the opposite side of your material to make a tiny hole.
Position the fabric between the cap and socket.
