1. If you wish to install the E26 E27 light bulb into an E12 lighting fixture, this adapter is perfect for your needs.
2. If you are planning to install this adapter in a compact lighting fixture, ensure there is adequate space to fit this adaptor within the fixture.
3. The length of the light bulb will increase by approximately 1.5 inches after installing this adaptor, depending on the depth of the E12 socket, which may cause the bulb to protrude from the lighting cover in downlight fixtures or conflict with the light cover.
4. Do not install light bulbs that exceed the specifications of the E12 to E26 adapter.
5. Avoid installing a heavy light bulb on this adapter, as the E12 lamp holder is small and cannot support overly heavy bulbs; however, a standard A19 E26 LED bulb weighing under 16 oz is suitable for use.
