Important: RM4 mini exclusively supports 2.4 GHz (NOT 5 GHz) Wi-Fi for configuration in the app.

HOW TO USE? 
Download BroadLink APP
Look for “BroadLink” on Google Play or scan the QR code found in the user guide.
Create an account and sign in to the Broadlink APP.
Connect the device to the APP
Navigate to the home screen on the APP, press “Add device” and adhere to the guidelines.
Turn off mobile data, choose the device AP, and remain connected to it.
Connect the device to your Wi-Fi
Select your home Wi-Fi (only 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi), enter the correct Wi-Fi password.
The Wi-Fi password must not exceed 32 characters.
Link to Alexa / Google Home.
In the BroadLink APP, select “Add Voice Assistant”.
In the Google/Alexa/IFTTT App, activate the skill/service called “Broadlink”, link your account, and discover devices.

Why won’t it connect to the APP / Wi-Fi?
The Broadlink RM4 mini exclusively supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi for setup and does not accommodate 5 GHz or mesh routers.
Ensure that the router settings are set to 2.4GHz, and verify that the Wi-Fi password length does not exceed 32 characters.
My AC model is not listed in the Broadlink database, what can I do?
Unfortunately, there is no option for your device.
Please select “Learn remote” to set up a remote, press the buttons on the original remote for the RM4 mini to learn the commands. You will then be able to manage the device once learning is complete.
Is my device compatible with the RM4mini?
The RM4mini is compatible with IR 38KHz devices but does not work with Bluetooth or RF. Refer to your device’s manual or contact the manufacturer for confirmation.
How can I determine if my remote is infrared or Bluetooth?
1) An infrared remote features an infrared emitter (crystal head) on its top, and you must aim the emitter at the device during use;
2) A Bluetooth remote lacks an infrared emitter and typically requires pairing before initial use.
It isn’t able to stably control my IR device; what should I do?
The IR signal cannot pass through walls; please verify that the device is positioned near your appliance without any obstructions in between.
RM4 mini and Sensor Cable Package – This package contains RM4 mini and HTS2 Sensor.Accessory that combines the roles of temperature and humidity detector along with a power cable. Connect the sensor cord between the RM4 mini and USB adapter just like a standard USB cable; on the control interface of the RM4 mini within the BroadLink app, it will show the temperature and humidity of the area where the sensor is situated. Establish the triggers, like activating your air conditioning automatically when the temperature increases.
High Compatibility Universal Remote – The RM4 mini remote accommodates over 50,000 IR-operated devices including TV, Air Conditioner, IR Fan, Amplifier, Sound Bar, STB, etc. The IR database is continuously refreshed by the cloud server to guarantee newer devices remain compatible. You have the option to configure your gadgets and learn buttons if certain cloud data is not accessible.
Voice Command and IFTTT – Compatible with Alexa, Google Assistant, and IFTTT (“BroadLink” skill/service). Easily set up with Amazon Echo or Google Nest for voice commands to control your IR devices, turn devices on/off, switch channels for the TV, and modify the temperature for the AC. Additional home automation settings can be implemented via IFTTT. Siri voice control is also accessible on iPhone.
Versatile – Create various timers, scenes, and routines as needed to manage your home IR-enabled devices, such as scheduling a time to turn on your TV to a specific channel to view your favorite game or show. Families can share the remote with each other through the invite and join features in the app.

Please Note – The RM4 mini only supports a 5V 1A adapter and 2.4 GHz (not 5 GHz) Wi-Fi for setup. Since IR signals can only be received without obstructions, please ensure there are no barriers between the RM4 mini and your device.
