This pin type is manufactured with a precisely controlled external diameter that is slightly larger than the hole designated for installation. As the pin is inserted, it compresses and exerts continuous pressure against the sides of the hole’s walls. This pressure creates radial tension to avert loosening caused by vibrations or shocks.
