3-Stage Filtration – The Purewell gravity water filter system employs a composite filtering technology, effectively decreasing a wide range of pollutants. The black carbon filter utilizes a 0.01μm hollow fiber UF membrane, a silver ion membrane, along with an activated carbon block designed to diminish chlorine and capture rust, sediments, organic substances, and heavy metals.
Precision Filtration with Smaller Pore Size – Featuring a filter pore size of merely 0.01 microns, the Purewell gravity water filter adeptly removes 99.99% of tiny particles from the water, while other brands provide only a 0.2 microns filter pore size. A smaller filter pore size translates to improved filtration precision. Remarkably, despite this minuscule pore dimension, the Purewell water filter system maintains a commendable flow rate of 4 gallons per hour.
Energy Efficient – Functioning on the principle of gravitational filtration, this system does not require electricity. The Purewell gravity water filter system consists of upper and lower chambers: the upper for unfiltered tap water and the lower for collecting purified water. Its lack of reliance on electricity renders it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. NOTE: Avoid adding tap water to the upper chamber when the lower chamber is filled with filtered water to prevent spillage.
Durable and Replaceable – The duo of black carbon filters provides up to 6000 gallons of drinkable water, with each filter element serving up to 3000 gallons (lifespan may differ based on water quality). For optimal effectiveness, it’s advised to change the filter elements every 6 months. Please be aware: This system does NOT decrease the TDS value.
