FUNCTION: Commercial lever door knobs equipped with locks from LYNN HARDWARE are designed for designated entries. This “Classroom Function” model is typically utilized in educational environments. The outer lever can be positioned in either the locked or unlocked state using the key. Utilize the key to set the outer lever to be either locked or unlocked. The inner lever remains accessible for emergency exit at all times.
COLOR & DIMENSIONS: Our commercial door locks are available in Satin chrome and aluminum finishes (26D finish). Crafted for doors 1-3/8″ to 1-3/4″ (35mm to 44mm) thick, they are compatible with doors 1-1/2″ to 2″ thick and come with a standard 2-3/4″ backset. These are non-handed commercial door levers, suitable for both right- and left-handed installations.
SPECIFICATIONS: Our door hardware & locks include standard ANSI 4-7/8″ x 1-1/4″ square corner strikes and 1-1/8″ x 2-1/4″ square corner faceplates. The backset measures 2-3/4″ (70mm), the stainless steel Roses have a diameter of 3-3/8″ (90mm), and the Latchbolt Stainless steel has a standard throw of 1/2″ (12.5mm). These specifications ensure compatibility with 161 door prep & standard 2-1/8″ bore prep.
CERTIFICATION: Engineered to function as dependable commercial door hardware, our robust entry key locks have received ANSI/BHMA A156.2 – Grade 2 (surpassing 400,000 cycles) certification and UL listing. Each lever door handle featuring a lock adheres to A117.10 accessible design standards and is fire rated for up to 3 hours. WHAT’S INCLUDED IN A BOX: Each package of LYNN HARDWARE lever door handle locks comprises 1 cylindrical lockset, screws and bolts, straightforward instructions, 1 ANSI strike, 1 reversible latch assembly, and 2 pre-cut keys (Schlage C-Keyway (6 pin cylinder) that are capable of being re-keyed. The robust door closer incorporates cold-rolled steel, machined and threaded hubs, and locking nuts to firmly secure the chassis to the door, thereby avoiding any loosening of the lockset even with numerous operations each day.
