Southwire® Romex® Brand SIMpull NM-B (nonmetallic-sheathed) wiring can be utilized for both open and hidden applications in typically dry areas at temperatures not exceeding 90C (with ampacity restricted to that of 60C conductors) as outlined in the National Electrical Code. NM-B wiring is mainly employed in domestic electrical installations as branch circuits for outlets, switches, and additional loads. NM-B wiring can be installed in air spaces of masonry blocks or tiled walls where those walls are not wet or moist environments. The voltage rating for NM-B wiring is 600 volts.
