The ULTRAWF water filter is straightforward to install in Frigidaire refrigerators equipped with the PureSource Ultra filter system. Push to remove the old filter and dispose of it. Insert the new filter until it clicks into place. Allow water to flow through the new filter for 3 minutes to activate it, then discard this water, which may include harmless dissolved air and carbon particles.
The Frigidaire refrigerators featuring built-in 6-month reminders must be reset according to your refrigerator’s Use and Care Manual. The reminder light does not turn off on its own.
