【Simple Transition Among 4 Working Modes】Autel PS100 Power Circuit Probe Kit supports four operational modes: DC voltage, AC voltage, Resistance, and Tone On/Off. In AC voltage mode, the PS100 can read the Max. and Min. voltage, frequency, and duty cycle; in Resistance mode, it measures resistance between the tip and auxiliary ground lead. In Tone On/Off mode, the annoying sound can be muted when the tool is connected to circuits for extended periods. Quickly switch between the 4 modes by pressing the mode button.
【Component Activation Capability】Autel PS100 supports component activation in 3 different scenarios: at hand, inside the vehicle, & with ground. By generating activation signals for the components, you can determine whether the components are functioning properly, such as lights, motors, wipers, radiator fans, relays, and fuel injectors, etc. You can also utilize the Autel PS100 circuit checker to identify poor ground contact. The response of LED lights can clearly indicate true ground.
【Polarity Rapid Recognition】In only a few seconds, Autel PS100 can check component continuity and distinguish between positive, negative, and open circuits. When the positive terminal is connected, the red LED light activates along with a beep. When the negative terminal is connected, the green LED illuminates with a low-pitched tone. If it’s an open circuit, the LED light will remain off.
【Overload Safeguard & Quick Self-Check】Autel PowerScan PS100 is protected against short circuits. Its internal circuit breaker will trip if it gets overloaded. After flipping the switch either forward or backward, the LED light and tone will respond to confirm its operational status.
